BEAUTIFUL AND RED
It was so beautiful, lacy, sexy and red,
Lovely to wear; what more to be said,
Alas, it did not suit
the dress,
Nor
the curve of my flesh,
Would
give me pain I'd face with dread.
So
it lay discarded but not replaced,
Beautiful
with it's inset of French lace,
A
silken garment refined,
The
only one of it's kind,
Set
aside with tears, what a waste.
Still
I carry the memory in my head,
Of
a time it was reluctantly left behind,
Such a heart throbbing beautiful red,
A keepsake with memories to remind.
